About

Ben Stanley

I got behind a camera in middle school and knew right away it was what I wanted to do. I still feel that way. It's where I'm most comfortable, and it's the best way I have of saying something.

Based in Rochester, NH. I work across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont.

Questions

Before you ask for a quote

How much does a video cost?

It depends on how long the shoot runs and how many edits you need. Every shoot includes a 4K cinema camera, two audio sources and lighting. My standard rates:

  • Half-day shoot, 4 to 5 hours at one location: $800
  • Full-day shoot, 8 to 10 hours: $1,500
  • Short vertical edit for Reels or TikTok, with subtitles and sound design: $150 each
  • Longer edit, 2 to 5 minutes, color graded with a full audio mix: $850 each
  • Ad versions cut and sized for each platform: $250 per campaign
  • Extra changes past the included review rounds: $85 an hour

Most projects are a shoot plus a few edits. Tell me what you're planning and I'll send an exact quote.

How much does a photo shoot cost?

Headshot packages are usually $150. Car and product shoots like the Porsche set above usually run $200 to $400. Tell me what you need and I'll send an exact quote.

How long until I get my photos or video?

Most photo shoots are delivered 1 to 5 days after the shoot. Event coverage and other videos take 2 to 3 weeks.

How do changes and feedback work?

Before I edit the whole job, I send you a sample: one finished photo or a short section of the video. You tell me what you think, and I adjust it if needed. Once you approve the look, I edit everything to match and deliver the full set.

Asking for changes adds time to the delivery dates above, because each change carries through the whole edit.

Where do you work?

I'm based in Rochester, NH and shoot across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont. Jobs outside New Hampshire have a travel cost, which we agree on before you book.

Who owns the video, and do I get the raw footage?

You do. Once the job is paid in full, the edited video and the raw footage are yours to use however you want, including ads and social media. If you only want the raw footage with no editing, the price is the same.

Unless we agree otherwise, I can also use the work in my portfolio.
